LGS-PBA push button station with LEDs

LIGHTGUARD’s LGS-PBA push button assembly comes with a large touch sensitive button with either a left or right facing figure. Once the button is pushed, the system is activated. Three LED lights located on the faceplate simultaneously begin to flash in sync with the system’s in-roadway warning lights (IRWL), RRFBs, and/or LED signs—alerting the pedestrian that the lighted crosswalk system has been activated. Push buttons can be used alone, or as an adjunct activation method to passive activation bollards.

Audible push button stations

The LGS-PBA-Guardian push button is MUTCD & ADA compliant. When pushed, it triggers an audible alert—letting pedestrians know that the system’s flashing in-roadway lights, LED signs, and/or RRFBs are activated. Push buttons can be used alone, or as an adjunct activation method to passive activation bollards.
Other MUTCD push buttons and placards
Other push button devices are available with multiple MUTCD compliant placard styles such as Braille, left and right facing pedestrian figure, directional arrow, text only, and custom audible voice message or sounds. Push buttons can be used alone, or as an adjunct activation method to passive activation bollards.
