Standard 10" Base Plate Module
The fiberglass composite mounting base plate secures and protects the in-pavement signal light head module. The dimensions of the base plate are 10" diameter and 1.5" depth, and the signal head projects .5" above the road surface. A shallow base plate depth ensures that the lower roadbed layer is not penetrated. Two-part epoxy compound permanently bonds the base plate to the road surface and embeds the signal light module into the roadway. ⇒ Read More
 Snowplow 14" Base Plate Module
The case-hardened steel alloy mounting base plate is embedded into the roadway to secure the in-pavement signal lights heads. The 14” diameter x 1.5” depth steel base plate is coated with a corrosion resistant steel primer. The top of the base plate is flush with the road surface, with the signal head projecting .5" above the road surface. The steel base plate is designed for installation in asphalt or concrete roadbeds, with two-part epoxy, for sites located in “snow country." ⇒ Read More
 Power Control Units (PCU) Module
The PCU accepts activation signals from either a push button device or automatic activation sensor. When the PCU is activated it sends a signal to the system, initiating the Enlighten 1™ flash pattern in all the LED lights. We have several types of PCUs: 1) Entry level with a duration timer and AC to DC converter; 2) Standard PCU with battery backup, programmable control unit and AC to DC converter; 3) Solar power with similar components as standard PCU; 4) Dual zone controller for situations needing one PCU for 2 crosswalk zones.

 Activation (Manual/Automatic) Module
The Smart Crosswalk™ activation device initiates the Enlighten 1™ flashing light sequence, thereby alerting motorists of pedestrians entering the crosswalk. These devices are of two types: 1) Push button manual activation and 2) automatic activation by infrared light beam technology. ⇒ Read More
 LED Signage Module
These internally illuminated LED enhanced signs are intended to be placed either adjacent to or in advance of any Smart Crosswalk™ location. They provide additional warning to approaching motorists by displaying the Enlighten 1™ flashing light pattern when the PCU system is activated.
